The Seattle Sounders and Al Ahly will face off this weekend for the chance to challenge Real Madrid in the Club World Cup.
While Real Madrid will enter the competition in a week at the “2022” Club World Cup, organized in Morocco, the competition started this Wednesday evening, in Tangier, with the victory of Al Ahly against Auckland City (3- 0).
The most successful Egyptian club in history will face Concacaf champions Seattle Sounders on Saturday, and the winner of this match will be Real Madrid’s opponents next Wednesday.
Note that Al Ahly is invited to this World Cup as a finalist in the African Champions League to accompany Wydad Casablanca, winner of the African C1 and representative of the host country of the competition.
