Vincent Aboubakar evokes the entourage of Eto’o and balances his four truths

The captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Vincent Aboubakar made an interview broadcast on Canal+ in which he warns Samuel Eto’o. The former FC Lorient striker who knows the realities of football in his country for having played in the ranks of Coton Sport de Garoua was clear in his words. For the Besiktas striker, the president of the Cameroon Football Federation is very poorly surrounded.

In the program Right in the Eyes on Canal +, Vincent Aboubakar did not mince his words. For him, competent people are rare in the wake of Samuel Eto’o to carry out his project at FECAFOOT.

“You always have to try. As long as it gives good results, we can say that we can trust these people. Afterwards, sometimes, there are experiences that go just as badly. Today, Cameroon is in a negative spiral. The president of the federation [Samuel Eto’o] has the will to get things done, but I find that he is not well surrounded. You have to surround yourself with competent people to succeed. When you have a vision, you have to bring people who share the same vision as you, who will help you achieve your ambitions. Otherwise, you pull down,” he said.

Samuel Eto’o has a vision for Cameroonian football

Cameroonian football legend, Samuel Eto’o has decided to take the pilgrim’s stick. In December 2021, he was elected head of FECAFOOT. It has a specific objective; restore the Cameroon of football to all its greatness. He wants to bring out sport king in its lethargy especially local football.

Samuel Eto’o arrived at FECAFOOT to provide solutions to the various problems that plague Cameroonian football. He wants local players to be able to make a full living from their profession. The legend has set a minimum salary for players in the first and second division. The former captain of Cameroon allowed sponsors to return to local football, he increased subsidies to clubs. The president of the Federation also created the conditions for the return of the public to the stadiums during the national championships.
