Already named last season, Nuno Mendes this time beat Bradley Barcola (OL), Ryan Cherki (OL), Elie Wahi (Montpellier) and Eliesse Ben Seghir (Monaco). After receiving his trophy, the former Sporting player notably dedicated his victory to Sergio Rico, in a worrying state after being the victim of a fall on horseback.
โWe are all with Sergio Ricoโ
โLast year I was nominated in this same category, but I didn’t win, thus confided Nuno Mendes. This year I am very happy to have won this trophy. I would like to thank my teammates and my coaches. We are all with Sergio Rico, we hope he comes back soon. ยป
