A new 192-page file on the CAF office
As our colleagues report, the file presented
“was not convincing in the eyes of CAF”. The latter has ” return “ the document to the delegation composed of Victor Ciss, the secretary general of the FSF, Ibrahima Ndao, the special adviser to the Minister of Sports, and Léonard Diagne, an influential member of the Sports Commission of the FSF. The goal is for the trio of officials to submit a new file, taking into account the
“observations” of the proceeding, before June 4, 2023. According to the indiscretions of Source A, the file submitted the day before the deadline, set for May 23, would have been botched. It would have been done hastily, at the last minute. The recommendations of the CAF, which did not reject it, however, had the merit of having this file revised.
Therefore, the new 192-page document is expected to be sent to CAF headquarters in Cairo on Thursday 1er
June, while the delegation was instructed by the government to submit it before June 3, to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
