Unveiled more than two hours before kick-off, the composition of Real Madrid to challenge Chelsea does not contain any surprises.
Winner 2-0 last week at the Bernabéu, the real Madrid is in a strong position to eliminate Chelsea in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League, this Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) at Stamford Bridge.
Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI remains unchanged from the second leg, with an attacking trio consisting of Rodrygo, Karim Benzema and Vinicius.
Eder Militao and David Alaba form the central hinge, Eduardo Camavinga is used on the left side, while Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are associated with Federico Valverde.
We therefore find Antonio Rüdiger, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Marco Asensio on the bench with Eden Hazard.
Real Madrid line-up: Courtois – Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Camavinga – Valverde, Kroos, Modric – Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius.
