Former Espanyol coach Vicente Moreno has warned Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo of the harsh weather conditions in Saudi Arabia. Moreno also claimed that Ronaldo might have problems adapting to the new environment.
During the first week of January, Cristiano Ronaldo played his first match for Al Nassr after signing with the club. The Portuguese player, who amicably left Manchester United in November, has agreed deals with Al Nassr that will keep him at the club for the next two and a half years. It is estimated that Ronaldo will earn around $200 million every year while playing for Al Nassr.
However, things are not going as the player who won the Ballon d’Or five times would like. In addition to the challenges he will face on a professional level, Ronaldo will also find it difficult to adapt to the new atmosphere of football and face many challenges beyond his wildest conception.
Recently, Coach Moreno, who currently manages Al Shabab, a team who face Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, shared his thoughts on Ronaldo’s transfer. He warned the Portuguese striker of the heat he would experience in the Gulf throughout the summer and acknowledged that Ronaldo would struggle to adapt to late training.
