Frank Kessie are keen to stay at Barcelona, despite the Spanish champions’ eagerness to offload the midfielder, Sport report. The 26-year-old has been identified as a player who can leave Camp Nou this summer as Barcelona seek to reduce their wage bill to ensure they comply with LaLiga’s Financial Fair Play rules.
However, the report suggests that despite interest from two Premier League clubs, alongside Inter Milan and Juventus, Kessie wants to stay and prove herself to manager Xavi.
The Ivory Coast international is believed to have turned down a chance to sign for Inter in January in a deal that would have seen Marcelo Brozovic sign for the Catalan club.
