Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has made a promise to Cedric Doumbe, a Cameroonian-born fighter, for his first MMA fight after signing with American organization PFL.
The pair chatted through mutual friend Mbappe calling Doumbe via FaceTime.
“I don’t know anything about MMA and UFC, but I’ll get up at five in the morning for you,” Mbappe told Doumbe, as the latter revealed in an interview for The MMA Hour.
To follow Doumbe’s first fight in PFL live, you will have to get up early in the morning, because the time difference between Atlanta, where the fight will take place, and Paris is six hours.
Doumbe is a former Glory Welterweight Kickboxing World Champion, considered one of the best welterweight fighters in the world. He has now decided to embark on his journey in the Professional Fighters League (PFL), an innovative new sports league.
