Much less accustomed to public outings than when he set the stage on fire Channel Football Club, Pierre Ménès made the trip to the Paris Criminal Court this Wednesday. Implicated by three young women accusing him of “sexual assault”, the journalist had come to defend himself, helped in this by his lawyer Maître Derambarsh. At the end of the exchanges, the prosecutor requested an eight-month suspended prison sentence against him, as well as a fine of 10,000 euros.
As reported The Team this Wednesday, the debate was intense and Pierre Ménès forcefully defended himself against the charges of “sexual assault” brought against him. The first dated back to 2018 and concerned two saleswomen from the Nike store on the Champs-Élysées. The second, more recent, had been formulated by a hostess of the Parc des Princes. The media quoted the prosecutor who motivated her request for a sanction for the fact that “we have several gestures with a sexual connotation which converge and which did take place (at the Nike point of sale) (…)“.
“Interstellar Void”
For his part, the lawyer for Pierre Ménès followed his line of defense by asking for the pure and simple release of his client. According to him, ” the real victim is Pierre Ménès” , while ” the record rests on quicksand. It is the interstellar void. The court’s decision should not be long in coming since L’Équipe indicates that the deliberation is scheduled for April 19.
