Maxime Lopez’s good performances with Sassuolo did not go unnoticed across the Channel.
Landed in Sassuolo in the summer of 2021, Maxime Lopez has established himself as one of the major players of Neroverdi. Since the start of the season, the former Marseillais has made 14 appearances in Serie A, including 12 starts.
But according to RMC, Bighton, decidedly very active at the end of the winter transfer window, would have tried to recruit the tricolor midfielder. The Seagulls would have offered a loan with an option to buy, but Sassuolo refused.
