It’s official ! Liverpool can no longer finish in the Top 4 and will therefore play in the Europa League next season after Manchester United’s victory against Chelsea (4-1) on Thursday evening.
This is the first time in 6 seasons that the Reds have not qualified for the Champions League!
“I am totally devastated. No excuses for that. We had everything we needed to qualify for the Champions League next year and we failed,” reacted Mohamed Salah.
“We are Liverpool and qualifying for the competition is the bare minimum. We let you and ourselves down,” he added.
