LOSC loses one of its captains. Tiago Djalo left the field in the 13th minute of Saturday’s derby against Lens (1-1, 26th day of Ligue 1) and underwent new tests to determine the nature of his injury.
And the verdict is in: the Portuguese central defender (22) suffers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. According to a press release issued by his club, Djalo will undergo an operation, the date of which has not been specified. His 2022-2023 season is already over.
The former Sporting and AC Milan reserve player, who arrived at the club in 2019, has established himself as the leader of LOSC over the seasons. The undisputed owner has only missed one game so far this season.
