The eight teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup know their future opponents. No shock expected.
After Manchester City, Fulham, Brighton and Blackburn on Tuesday evening, Manchester United, Burnley, Sheffield United and Grimsby Town confirmed their ticket to the FA Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday. Directly after the last four eighths, the draw was made. No real shock since the two Mancunian rivals avoid each other. United, however, does not escape a Premier League team since it will host Fulham.
For its part, Manchester City will receive Burnley, current leaders of the Championship and on track to go back to PL next season. Brighton inherited Tom Thumb Grimsby Town. The League Two club have just left Southampton and will want to continue against another formation of the elite.
