Despite racist cries against Romelu Lukaku, the sanction imposed on Juventus has been canceled.
Juventus will finally be able to count on part of the southern stand of the Piedmontese stadium (4,500 seats), Sunday evening against the leader Naples, on the occasion of the poster for the 31st day of Serie A. The Italian Football Federation ( FIGC) agreed with the Bianconeri whose appeal was processed on Wednesday.
Juventus had challenged the sanction imposed for racist cries by some of its supporters against Inter striker Romelu Lukaku; in the first leg semi-final of the Italian Cup (1-1) played this month.
The Turin club had justified its appeal by considering that the sanction had not taken into account the efforts and the will of Juventus to identify and punish the perpetrators of these offenses.
