Interim President, Philippe Diallo has been confirmed at the head of the FFF until the end of 2024.

No new revolution at the French Football Federation. At the end of the general meeting organized this Saturday, Philippe Diallo was confirmed at the head of the body.

Appointed interim president last January when Noël Le Graët was sidelined, the 59-year-old leader elected president until the end of 2024, when Le Graët’s initial term ends. During the vote with the delegates of French football, Philippe Diallo was largely elected, with 91.26% of the votes cast.

“You do me the honor of registering my name – the 13th – as president of the FFF. It is a great responsibility that I measure, said Philippe Diallo. In recent months, we have experienced a number of difficulties and I would like to associate all the members of the Comex with your vote, a united, united and competent team. In the weeks and months when things rocked, this team was able to continue to make the Federation work, work on projects and prepare for the future. Your trust gives me a lot of strength. I am ready to commit to what was started with Noël Le Graët in March 2021 and go beyond to continue the modernization of our Federation. We are turning a page and the question that may have been raised about the legitimacy of our governance is now closed. »
