Alexis Sanchez could return to the Emirates Stadium next season. According to ‘The Sun’, the Gunners are considering re-signing the Chilean striker, who played for the England side between 2014 and 2018.
Alexis Sanchez already knows what it’s like to play for Arsenal. His current contract with Marseille expires at the end of the season and his future is uncertain.
‘The Sun’ claimed on Monday that the Gunners are considering re-signing him as a free agent for next season. The Chilean striker played at Emirates Stadium between 2014 and 2018 and won two FA Cups.
The 34-year-old’s priority is to play in the next Champions League campaign. The same outlet reported that the Arsenal board would be willing to bring Sanchez back but it was not Mikel Arteta’s request.
The former Barcelona footballer has scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 36 competitive appearances this season for the French club.
