Alexis Pinturault combined world champion at home

Frenchman Alexis Pinturault won the combined at the Alpine Skiing Worlds in Courchevel on Tuesday, the first men’s race of the competition, in the resort where he partly grew up.

Pinturault obtained his sixth planetary individual medal, his second in gold in this discipline after that gleaned in Are (Sweden) in 2019, and ideally launched the world fortnight of the France team.
